“ Visited: 23/01/25 Price per person: 34 We recently dined at Neekalash and it was a great. I personally like a confirmation text when booking a table, taxi etc to make sure there’s been no mistakes made during the call so we were already off to a good start there. The restaurant is nicely designed and is double the size you think when you first walk in. The staff were attentive and the food was delicious. For starters, we had meat samosas, onion bhajis, and paneer, and they were absolutely delicious. The samosas were the best I’ve ever had - and I’ve eaten a hell of a lot of Indian! The onion bhajis were good, and the paneer was packed with flavor. For the mains, we enjoyed chicken tikka masala, butter king prawns, biryani, and fresh naans. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The dishes were rich and indulgent. The biryani was fragrant and packed with flavour. Portion sizes were good throughout. Overall, everything was spot-on, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for high-quality Indian food. Vegan options available. It looks like a nightclub from the outside but it is a restaurant inside! Only downside was no allocated parking to the restaurant (but there is street parking after 6:30pm) and I think it’s time for them to retire the R. Kelly song from their playlist ”

The decor is modern and tasteful, the music isn't deafening, the staff are welcoming and most importantly the food is delicious. The naan is brilliant with a delicious smoky edge. The veg dhansak is milder than I expect from a dhansak, but that just allowed me to appreciate just how tasty it was and the lamb balti complemented it perfectly to make a great meal. This is one of those restaurants I just have to come back to. ”

“ Fabulous food and the team there are always willing to stretch your palette and will encourage you to try new things. Super food from Bangladesh. My friend who loves chicken with pineapple was thrilled to find that when they said with, they meant with... Another return meal (to beat the Valentines crush!) we had a tandoori mixed grill (huge! 1/4 chicken, butterfly prawn, lamb chop, lamb kebab, chicken wings) a mirch chicken (coriander and Tamarind sauce) rice and Daal. The mixed grill came with a salad and a naan. Absolutely delicious although the mixed grill was (unusually) a tad overcooked. ”
